Itinerary

  • Once you arrive, settle into our central Colombo hotel. Arriving early? Join a short city tour through Sri Lanka’s vibrant streets and colonial charm. In the evening, we’ll come together for a welcome dinner and your first InnerWild connection moment.

  • Wake up early for breakfast, then head straight into the rainforest retreat.

Today’s challenge: Marvel Canyoning, and swim through nature’s course, finishing with a zip line above the forest.

Return in the afternoon, refresh, and enjoy dinner.

  • Wake up to breakfast, then take on an extended white-water rafting adventure on the Kelani River.

Afterward, enjoy lunch and free time to relax by the river or simply rest.

In the evening, join a sunset yoga session, followed by a nourishing dinner.

  • After breakfast, we head into the Knuckles Highlands, drop our gear, and begin a demanding two-day, 36 km trek. Expect steep ascents, jungle trails, ridges, and rocky slopes that test stamina and focus.

Highlights include Walpolamulla Village, misty viewpoints, hidden cascades, the “Infinity Pool,” Dumbara Waterfall, and finally Duwili Ella a 40m waterfall with a cave behind it.

We camp overnight by the falls, falling asleep to the sound of rushing water.

  • Wake up to the roar of Duwili Ella and breakfast at camp. We set off to explore Kaludiyapokuna Waterfall, the hidden Sansun “Secret” Waterfall, and the Infinity Pool.

After lunch in the mountains, we begin the final leg back to Walpolamulla, Sri Lanka’s smallest village, before completing the trek.

By late afternoon, we return to the highlands for dinner and rest.

  • After breakfast, we leave the highlands and drive back to Colombo (3.5–4 hours).

In the late afternoon, we board a private yacht for a 3-hour sail along the coast. Enjoy snacks, drinks, and sunset views before returning to shore for a final dinner, the perfect close to your Sri Lankan adventure.

  • Enjoy a relaxed breakfast before departure. Depending on your flight, fit in some last shopping, a coastal walk, or a short spa visit.

We’ll arrange your transfer to Colombo Airport (20–40 min), sending you off with memories, friendships, and the satisfaction of a week fully lived.
